Essential Oils are becoming easier to find. They are sold in supermarkets, pharmacies, at Target and Walmart.
One one hand, it’s nice to see more in the marketplace, and great to see people turning to essentials as part of natural wellness.
On the other hand, do you know what you’re getting?
In most cases, I do. As a certified Aromatherapist, I’ve studied Essential Oils and their benefits. I provide the necessary instructions on proper usage. When you purchase an Essential Oil blend, or single oil, do you consult with an Aromatherapist?
If the answer is no, you should. You know you won’t get much help in a grocery store or specialty shop, tho sometimes you do. Also, there are partially trained and untrained people selling oils and making all sorts of claims.
Even worse, some people are advising others to use Essential Oils in ways that are dangerous.
If you want good information, and want to stay safe, consult with a certified Aromatherapist.
